…The Stret-CHI and your other classes have had a big impact on my triangle and pyramid poses!! I’ve struggled with triangle over the years, but am finding it much more accessible after doing Stret-CHI for the past few months – and I am finding a lot more length in my hamstrings for pyramid. I truly enjoy the Stret-CHI classes. I’ve been told that to maintain good mental health at this time is to exercise, learn something new and to do good deeds. Stret-CHI covers two out of three. For me, the amount of repetition is just right. I like having a good chance at ‘learning’. Sometimes I wish that you would give out a hand out. Old school... I want to remember the names (which I find to be charming) and to be able to do the routine on my own. I can barely remember the first set that you taught us. The chair yoga segment is a bonus. As is the mini-meditation. - P.B.

Maureen…just wanted to let you know that I have had a huge, overwhelming positive response to my classes this week. Last night was unbelievable. These people have been with me since I began and have watched me grow as an instructor; students came up to me after class and actually were hugging me, and telling me how unbelievable that experience was, that they have never experienced anything like that before and that was the best yoga class they had ever attended...ever. So thanks for the subtle tools. We only scratched the surface last night, began noticing colours behind our eyelids, used all dynamic poses, focusing on the breath as we moved into, out of and thru each pose several times, and constant cues to "feel" the breath, the body, the energy. I taught the opening as we did in Winnipeg and did some of the deep relaxation and visualization with them. WOW!!!!! And that manual has sooo sooo much more in it. Thank you Maureen. Thank you. If you would like to experience authentic yoga then this warm, intimate studio is the space for you. Classes are done with a focus on mindfulness and awareness. Maureen is an incredible teacher. She interweaves vinyasas seamlessly while providing accommodations and modifications for all body types. Each class is different: she varies the intention, her words and, often, even the way of getting in and out of the poses. You will never get bored and you will always learn something new, exploring and discovering yourself through yoga. There is so much more to say, but the best thing to do is go and experience a class for yourself. - Joanna
